Levels of Care in Our Substance Abuse Program
Each client who steps through our doors has had a unique experience with substance use disorders. QuickSilver Counseling Center offers two levels of care that provide specialized treatment for each person.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The IOP is the most involved level of care we offer. During their time in the IOP, clients will meet multiple times per week for a few hours each day. They will engage in therapies chosen by our care team that are most appropriate for their situation, history of substance use, and goals in recovery.
Co-Occurring Rehab Treatment Program
Many of our clients are dealing with both a substance use disorder and mental health condition. We offer specialized care for these people through our co-occurring rehab program. Our team provides integrated treatment to address the unique needs of each person in recovery.

Evidence-Based Substance Abuse Treatment
All treatment at QuickSilver Counseling Center is guided by evidence-based therapy methods that educate clients and help them change their addictive behaviors. With more education and insight, they can make practical changes in their daily lives.
Some of the evidence-based therapies we use include:
- Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) – Clients in our alcohol or opioid addiction treatment program may receive FDA-approved medications to mitigate long-term withdrawal symptoms. QuickSilver supports the use of naltrexone (commonly known as Vivitrol) as part of our abstinence-based treatment and believes these can be helpful tools in early recovery.
- Group therapy – 12-step principles guide our support groups, where clients learn they are not alone in recovery from drugs and alcohol. Here, they will also be able to forge bonds with others in recovery so they can have a strong safety network.
- Relapse prevention therapy – This approach helps clients learn about the triggers that may lead to relapse and develop strategies to process them healthily.
